‘Love ain’t perfect’ so they say;
Indeed it isn’t, yes I know
But who would want to go it alone?
To spend the rest of their wretched lives chasing their shadow,
Without the quarrels and the fears love entails?

Today is a day of happiness,
But tomorrow might be sodden in pain,
The one who said hold my hand,
Might be the first one to withdraw,
You really never know,
But who, again I ask,
Wouldn’t want that warm fuzzy feeling?

To know you was a coincidence,
To love you was fate,
You loving me was destiny,
Loving each other is a lifelong plan.

I aint perfect, God knows my heart.
But tattered though it maybe,
May it ever remain yours.
You have given me the power to give up,
Things I thought I would never let go,
Each day with you, is a day of growth,
So if I cannot do right by myself
I pray I always do right by you.

Look at me,
I have said this before,
And you most certainly have heard it before,
But, look at me;
I love you
This isn’t words, this is commitment
That I will keep, don’t matter what the odds might be.

I plan to love you for as long as I can;
I mean, as long as my life,
But if that fails, I will love you to death,
Even if that too fails, I will love you to insanity.

Despite the fights, I am glad we always find our way home-
And in the midst of an argument, love ain’t lacking.
I don’t know if love could ever be as crude as this,
Undefiled, unedited, unabraded.

In separation by distance;
Will I love you.
In shild or in innocence,
Will I love you.
In sorrow and in happiness,
Will I love you.
In fulfilled or in broken promises,
Will I love you.
No matter the circumstance;
I will love you
