Winter Warmer

June is no longer a cold month;
Somehow I am busking in the warmth;
It is not the heat of the comforters,
Or the comfort of the heaters,
It is her,
Fueling me.

The wind is howling outside
And in the atmosphere you can feel the chill
The cold is biting to the bone,
But not for me, the light has shone
What been dark
There’s a spark.

Each day with her
Is unburdened of care
I am wading in the waters
And I gat no worries
She has put my heart to rest
Sheltered in her love’s nest.

I am burning, somebody pour me water!
But beware, I need no firefighter.
For she is my sunshine,
The days be brighter.
I used to have big dreams
Now I am seeing visions.

Winter is a bit warmer
Maybe it’s because I am no more a loner
Because she came in winter
Yet she brought summer
That’s why when they ask the reason for them smiles
I always tell em “Patience Pays.”
